Djiboutian Prime Minister Abdoulkader Mohamed Kamil presented Somali Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon with 15 armoured military vehicles at Camp Sheikh Osman on Thursday (April 4th), the Djiboutian Information Agency reported.

The trucks are part of a larger Djiboutian donation of 25 armoured military vehicles and 25 military trucks, and mark Somalia's first receipt of arms since the United Nations partially lifted a two-decade arms embargo on the country in March.

During the first stop on his regional tour, Shirdon also signed a military agreement with Djibouti, thanking the country for its continuous support of Somalia, UN-funded Radio Bar-Kulan reported.
