Japanese military forces stationed in Djibouti visited the Fukuzawa secondary school in Balbala on Thursday (January 10th) to organise cultural exchange activities with the students, Djibouti's La Nation reported.
The air detachment of Japan's anti-piracy forces commanded by Captain Hitoshi Moriwaki collaborated with the teaching staff to organise football games and demonstrations of martial arts and Japanese folk dances.
The Fukuzawa school was constructed with Japanese assistance in 1995 and remains a symbol of diplomatic relations between the countries, the official news agency reported.
