Coca-Cola announced a 5-million shilling ($58,000) official sponsorship of Kenya's National Olympic Committee on Monday (July 16th), Kenya's Daily Nation reported.
The soft drink company will donate 4 million shillings in cash and 1 million shillings in Coca-Cola products, country manager for Kenya Rocky Findley said. "We believe this sponsorship will go a long way in boosting and refreshing the team as they represent the nation and do us proud during this year's games," he said.
Coca-Cola worked with popular Kenyan artist and producer Madtraxx to create the Coca-Cola Kenya Olympic Anthem, "Move to the Beat".
