Kenyan police arrested a woman in Nairobi on Tuesday night (June 12th) who had in her possession a hand grenade and three pistols, Kenya's Capital FM reported.
The woman, whose name was not released, is being held on suspicion of planning a criminal or terrorist act and is expected to appear in court this week, police officials said.
"She had a hand grenade, three Ceska pistols and 11 bullets," said Nairobi Provincial Police Chief Antony Kibuchi. She was arrested in the Rurii area of Zimmerman estate and is being questioned by the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit, he said.
Police said they looking for possible accomplices.
