Somaliland is an important partner for the security of the region, Kenya Prime Minister Raila Odinga said during a meeting in Nairobi with Somaliland ministers, the Somaliland Sun reported on Wednesday (June 6th).
During the talks, which included Somaliland Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Omar and Somaliland envoy to Kenya Mohamoud Abdullahi Jam, Odinga declared his intention to visit Hargeisa after Somaliland President Ahmed Mahmoud Silanyo ends his upcoming official visit to Kenya.
Odinga called for building relations between Somaliland and Kenya to improve citizens' security and livelihoods.
