Somali Minister of Culture and Education Ahmed Aidid Ibrahim met with officials at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education on Tuesday (May 8th) to discuss the education of Somali students, the official Kuwaiti News Agency reported.
Undersecretary for the Ministry of Education Tamadhor al-Sedairawi said Kuwait is committed to supporting Somali students enrolled in Kuwaiti schools for as long as the Somali government wishes.
The ministry's special interest in the success of Somali students at Kuwaiti schools and universities complements agreements for educational co-operation between the two governments.
