The Kenya Meat Commission (KMC) on Thursday (April 26th) signed an export agreement with two companies based in the United Arab Emirates, Kenya's Daily Nation reported.
The two companies, Global Foods and Blue Mountain Food, agreed to import 15.5 tonnes of calf, sheep and goat meat six days a week for one year.
Blue Mountain Foods will assist KMC with capacity building and help the "distribution of quality products in the competitive Dubai and other markets in Arab countries", said company chairman Khalifa al Zaffin.
