Somali government security forces shot and killed four al-Shabaab members in Mogadishu on Tuesday night (April 24th) after the militants murdered two civilians in different parts of the city, the Somali National Security Service said in statement.
Security forces killed two militants, who were armed with pistols, after they assassinated a man returning from a mosque in the Blacksea village. Hours later, security forces shot and killed two other militants in KPP village after they murdered a young man. Both villages are in the Hodan district.
The militants were offered the chance to surrender to the security forces, but they refused, according to the Somali National Security Service.
