A grenade attack on a Nairobi bus station on Saturday (March 10th) killed at least six people and wounded 63, according to a new toll issued Sunday by Kenyan Internal Security Minister George Saitoti.

"The death toll is now six, and we have 63 people undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital; 11 of them were seriously injured," he told reporters.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but Kenyan police blame al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Shabaab. "We suspect this is the work of al-Shabaab, but all this will come out in the investigations," Saitoti said.

"We have intensified security in government installations and all public places, churches, hotels, shopping malls and bus terminuses, so that we may deter such criminals from accomplishing their ill intentions," he said.

The attack was the deadliest in Nairobi since al-Qaeda's bombing of the US embassy that killed 213 people and injured 5,000 in August 1998.

Honestly, I am sad about the explosion that targeted many innocent people. I hope those injured, quickly recover and at the same time, I am praying to God to shower His mercy on those who died.

The fools, murderers, malignant and immoral organizations deserve that we curse and describe them with everything that indicates their viciousness and the extent of the hatred they carry against people and humanity in general. Al-shabab and its bloodsucker movement is form of terrorism and organized crime. They encompass all these revolting characteristics due to the fact that they are an evil organization. We should curse al-shabab movement and its criminal followers who share the same mentality with them and work for their favor at the expense of innocent people’s lives who are being killed every day. May God Curse this terrorist organisation and the warlords.
