Kenyan police have arrested a former administration police officer in Garissa for allegedly training al-Shabaab recruits and co-ordinating attacks in Kenya, police said on Thursday (February 2nd).
The officer was arrested on Wednesday after parents rescued their 14-year-old boy, whom the officer was allegedly training to use explosives.
"The man is under interrogation … there is little more we can say at the moment," North Eastern Provincial Police Chief Leo Nyongesa said, according to Kenya's Capital FM News.
