Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon held bi-lateral talks on Sunday (January 29th) in Addis Ababa for the African Union summit, Kenya's Daily Nation reported.
Talks focused on support for Somalia's Transitional Federal Government and the African Union Mission in Somalia, as well as efforts to combat piracy in the Indian Ocean, the United Nations said in a statement.
In addition, the UN chief thanked the Kenyan government for hosting refugees from Somalia and discussed security at the Dadaab camp, the statement said.
